The JX1 didn't start with a design sketch. It started with the human jaw. Jackal Jaw's team mapped the geometry of the mandible, identified the failure points of the traditional chin strap design, and built an anatomical platform that solves multiple problems at once.
The result is a contoured ergonomic structure with no overlapping seams, no harsh stitching surfaces, and none of the low-quality materials that make traditional straps uncomfortable enough that players wear them incorrectly — or not at all.
Material Science, Not Guesswork
Years of material selection, prototyping, and testing went into finding the right density profiles for the JX1. The materials had to perform in the lab, survive high-intensity contact, and work for the player's skin across long practices and back-to-back games.

Temperature neutrality was also addressed. The JX1's material properties allow for a lower thermal index — meaning our materials provide a more stable temperature range across all weather conditions, whether playing in early spring cold or late summer heat.
Moisture Release Channels: A Detail That Changes Skin Friction
One of the more subtle engineering decisions in the JX1 is the moisture management system. By maximizing open-air perforations on the chin as well as creating drainage columns at the base of the vent plate, water and sweat fall away from the skin during play. Continuous airflow to the chin promotes rapid sweat evaporation, reduces material friction, and minimizes skin irritation over the course of a full game.
