Protect the Player, Protect the Sport.
Our Mission is Clear.
We are former college lacrosse players who are now the coaches, and parents, of the next generation. We see the old strap fail all day in real time. Anyone who knows the sport sees the same. Dislodged helmets, broken jaws, facial lacerations, stitches, acne, and brain injuries. We built into a need of the sport. Denying that need is no longer optional.
the Flaws Have been Re-engineered
It is clear traditional chinstraps are built for mass production using the most basic cut and sew method possible. It could not be more rudimentary. With Jackal Jaw, that is not the case. We injection mold our components with durable, protective materials. Every shape, every curve, every cubic millimeter on the JX1 was optimized for performance, protection, and comfort. No element was overlooked.
Built into a Need
We spent years sourcing elastomers that would repel sweat and bacteria, protect against impacts, and remain durable over time. We refused cheap foams that irritate the skin and break down quickly. We refused hard plastics that create rigidity and inflexibility. The result is a soft-touch, durable, hydrophobic texture that form-flexes with the players movement.

Jackal Jaw's Mission
Protection is a choice the player makes with those responsible for their well-being. We believe every lacrosse player deserves a strap that protects the jaw, comforts the skin, and retains the helmet. Too many avoidable injuries have ended player's careers. We will not stand by and bear witness to it any longer.
Make Your Choice →"We set out to build the protection lacrosse players should have been wearing 30+ years ago. The brand comes after...."— Jackal Jaw's Founders
Rebuilt from the jaw up
WE PLAYED THROUGH TRADITIONAL CHINSTRAP FAILURE, THEN SOLVED IT.
For more than 50 years, the traditional lacrosse chin strap remained essentially unchanged. Jackal Jaw set out to address what we believed was a fundamental gap in helmet stability, jaw protection, comfort, and fit.
