The Problem We Set Out To Solve

Your Helmet Should Stay Where It Belongs.

Lacrosse helmets, as they stand, do not remain in place during impacts. Watch any game at any age-level and you'll see it.

Jackal Jaw was engineered to solve this systemic problem while increasing comfort and jaw protection.

"Protecting my son's brain has always been my top priority in his participation in contact sports, so we’ve tried a lot of different products over the years. Nothing has come close to the comfort, protection, and seamless transition we got with Jackal Jaw. Popping it onto his helmet was effortless, and KJ immediately felt the difference in stability and fit. It keeps his helmet locked in during hard play without sacrificing comfort. We'll never be able to get him back in that pleather chin diaper. For parents who care about safety and athletes who care about performance, this is easily the best upgrade out there."

What our players say

I don't touch my helmet during games anymore, it's just always in place. Through the entire dodge, through the contact, through the shot. Compared the old chin straps, I never have to worry about my vision changing from my helmet moving or jeopardized my safety by my helmet falling off. Every helmet should have a Jackal for the safety of players.

I started using Jackal Jaw during my senior year '24 at Penn State after sustaining a concussion. Jackal Jaw gave me so much confidence returning to the field knowing I was using a specialized product that would protect my most important asset, my brain. As soon as you put it on, you feel more protected and more comfortable in your helmet. I was so glad a product like Jackal Jaw has hit the market as I know it will help protect the future generations of lacrosse players.

TJ Malone Penn State · 2nd Team All-American

Jackal Jaw is a product I wish I had my whole life. The combination of the reinforced jaw pad and the texture/material for comfort makes this one of the most important pieces of equipment. The stability and "locked in" feeling is not achieved with regular chin straps. It also protects my face from the inside of the helmet when I get hit. Jackal Jaw is the only chinstrap I use, I'll never go back.

Our hydrophobic materials can be scrubbed gently with warm water.
The players say it does. By increasing airflow and decreasing moisture build up on the chin, we eliminate the moisture trap that causes unhealthy friction with skin and typically leads to acne mechanica.
It depends on the player and the use. However, the build quality should last beyond the players need to size up.
